KBS, KT Launch Converged DMB / WiBro Service for Mobile Devices

Korean KBS (Korean Broadcasting System) and KT have jointly launched a converged DMB/WiBro service for mobile devices. By connecting a terrestrial DMB (Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) receiver to a wireless broadband device, users will be able to watch TV and access the Internet on the same device. The service is currently undergoing testing and is expected be commercialized in June 2006.
